Suguna did a great job of showing my family of 5 around Chennai, Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram . She was extremely flexible with our ever-changing needs and jet lag, and is very knowledgeable about everything.

We planned a 3 weeks tour through South India on our own and started in Madras. We had much luck to get Sugu as a guide for the region. We were charmed by her warm welcome and her profound explanations combined with the introduction to Tamil way of living. We would have been very pleased to have her on the rest of the tour too. Suguna was our guide for a day, giving us a brief tour of Chennai before taking us to Dakshina Chitra, the heritage village on the Coromandel Coast, and then to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mamallapuram and its famous temples. She is very knowledgeable and communicates very well and enthusiastically. She is good at assessing the interests of her clients and adapting to ensure they have the best of days. We had Sugu as a guide in Chennai and were looking for a particular dance program. She went out of her way to find it, plus she suggested a tour for the following day, when we had nothing to do. Her English is good. She is different from most guide we have had in that she was our first female guide. hence she had many different opinions on life in India.
